Sarah Van Loo is a Project Lead The Way (PLTW) Launch Lead Teacher in two buildings in Ann Arbor Public Schools, Michigan, and a Project Lead The Way Launch Master Teacher. She has a bachelor’s degree in accounting information systems, a teaching certification in visual arts education, and a master’s degree in educational technology. She draws from this diverse background to implement PLTW curriculum in a blended learning format where her students gain critical 21st-century skills hands-on. She is interested in cultivating creative thinking and computational thinking in her students and has presented at conferences and worked with other educators in an effort to affect change for as many students as possible.
